FUTURE COLOUR TRENDS FOR S/S 19

The five key colours set to make an impact in S/S 19, derived from WGSN’s Global Colour Forecast:

Sunny Yellow-

Yellow has been taking popularity Has been takeover recent seasons, The vibrant tone of Sunny Yellow (12-06-03) is taken from the ‘In Touch’ colour palette and has an inherent optimism that is perfect for spring/summer 19.

 

 

Blue Cadet- (15-4225) is taken from the Creative Manifesto palette, and will work as a versatile colour. it is warm, upbeat blue that calls to mind summer skies, but also has a calming softness that feels slightly retro, allowing it to be used in a more subdued way.

 

Riot Red-

(19-1757) taken from the Creative Manifesto Palette, is a bold unambiguous tone that will cut through the noise, to make a strong impact in S/S 19. This true primary  colour others depths and sweetness.

 

Rubber Plant-

Green is both relaxing and optimistic, and comes in a range of hues for S/S 19. The tone of rubber plant (19-0230) taken from the colour Common Ground Palette, has a depth that makes it versatile enough to work across genders, markets and categories.

 

Lupin Lilac-

As the popularity of pink reaches saturation point, S/S 19 will see lilac emerge as a new colour across markets. Lubin Lilac  (15-3630) taken from the Common Ground palette, has the right amount of sweetness to work in both feminine and masculine contexts, and also see the retro quality that is suitable for interiors.
